The review engineer will be responsible for a review of the unit design, including the sequence of operation during the submittal phase of the project, as well as the bills of material. The review engineer will examine the design to make sure good design practices and engineering procedures have been followed, and that the design will meet the intended sequence of operation and complies with the specifications and factory order. Items to be considered shall include, but are not limited to, refrigerant pressure drop in coils, suction and condensing temperatures, review of fan selections (fan curves), furnace selections, coil and filter face velocities. Sequence of operation review shall include, but is not limited to, ensuring that cooling and heating control will meet the control strategy (modulation vs. staging), all modes of operation are described in detail, and all required safeties are included. Drawing review will include, but is not limited to, access to all maintenance sections, fan clearances, proper labeling and dimensioning, adequate distance between flue exhaust and fresh air intakes, potential condensation issues, potential airflow issues, curb drawing and review of zone detail for multi-zone units. The bill of material review shall include, but is not limited to evaporator coil design and quantity, condenser coil design and quantity, blower class, construction, and quantity, compressor model, voltage and quantity, damper type, size and quantity, expansion valve selection, furnace orientation, control and quantity, heat exchanger selection, power burner selection, filter selection, holding frames and clips.&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
