Fan orientation can be an issue.
You can use the VSD on the wheel for frost control but I think most manufacturers prefer the OA face and bypass damper set up for frost control.
Purge is not needed most of the time since the RA and OA streams usually mix anyways. But, many times we include it “just in case”.
Be aware of how the wheel is removed or fixed in the field. There should be a plan for repairs in the field if ever they are needed.
